Today’s video is a little glimpse into my summer hibernation. Lately, work has been keeping me quite busy, so I’ve decided to slow things down for the summer and upload just one video each week. I’m curious to see if I’ll miss creating more than I expect. I have a feeling I probably will. Today begins with a busy morning in front of the computer, but eventually I step away for something I’ve been craving all day… A quiet coffee break with a beautiful view. Sometimes a small pause is all we need to recharge. The rest of the afternoon is filled with simple pleasures. A little tidying around the house. Fresh summer smoothies made with seasonal fruit. A simple homemade lunch for Joen and me. A peaceful levada walk with Lara. And later, a relaxed evening with friends as we prepare tapas and gather to watch Portugal play. Nothing extraordinary happens today. And perhaps that’s exactly what makes it special. These ordinary days often become the ones I treasure the most. During the video I also share a little update about the channel and why I’ve decided to embrace a slower rhythm throughout the summer. Sometimes slowing down isn’t about doing less.
