Cut them in half and quickly rinse them in water. ② Cut the onion lengthwise into 1cm wide slices along the grain. ③ In a heated bowl, combine soy sauce, bonito stock, sake, mirin, and sugar and mix well. Add the potatoes and onions and mix lightly. Add the beef slices and mix further. ④ Arrange the ingredients so that the potatoes are as submerged in the seasoning as possible. Cover with plastic wrap and heat in a 600-watt microwave for 8 minutes. 💡Make sure the ingredients that you want to absorb the most flavor are submerged. ⑤ Put on oven mitts and remove the bowl. Gently remove the plastic wrap and mix well from the bottom. Without the plastic wrap, heat in a 600-watt microwave for another 10 minutes. ⚠ Be careful, it's hot! 💡 Put the broth into a pot. ⑥ Put on oven mitts and remove the bowl.
