How To Make Running Around On The Grass Much More Interesting And Beneficial

Would you like to go and run around on the grass but you're stuck for ideas about what to do to make it more interesting - to work more muscles than just running around in a straight line? In this video I share a simple and cheap piece of kit that I use to solve these problems and I explain some of the ways that I utilise it. I talk about how this stops me from getting bored while training and helps me to construct mental challenges so that I can push my performance to try and beat my previous levels. I'm 57 years old (Gen X) and an ex-smoker/drinker so I like to have a blend of jogging, sprinting and walking in my fitness workout so that I can push myself a little while also making sure not to overstep the mark and risk injury or keeling over! This system that I use incorporates all of those which means that whenever it feels too much I can just slip back into the default walking mode which ensures that I don't overdo it, but at the same time means that I am continually moving and burning calories. None of this is rocket science, but I know from experience that I've learnt a lot just from listening to people talking about what they do and how they do it and picking up little ideas and inspiration from those talks. Hence why I made this video - I hope it inspires you or gives you some fresh ideas to help you to get out there and hit the grass and get some steps in.
