Czy młodzi ludzie wiedzą dziś, kim chcą być?

Never before has the young generation had so many choices. Nor have they grown up in a world that is changing so rapidly. Globalization, technological advancements, social media, job market uncertainty, and the mental health crisis make building one's identity one of the greatest challenges for many young people. The guest of this episode of Credible Education is Prof. Agnieszka Cybal-Michalska – educator and sociologist of education, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, long-time dean of the Faculty of Educational Studies, head of the Department of Sociopedagogical Problems of Youth, and chair of the Committee on Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. For many years, she has conducted research on youth, identity, careers, and the social impact of globalization. We discuss, among others, about: ▪ building young people's identities, ▪ aspirations and plans for the future, ▪ anxiety, loneliness, and mental health, ▪ the impact of globalization on the young generation, ▪ professions of the future and the labor market, ▪ social responsibility, ▪ the schools that young people need. Does contemporary schools help young people find their own path, or do they prepare them for future exams? I invite you to listen to the conversation.
