Well, what is there to see at Freiburg Central Station? A few ICEs, a few black, yellow, and white regional trains in the bwegt livery – but otherwise? I was pleasantly surprised in the end. While the aforementioned trains were certainly plentiful, there were also a few other sights passing through the area, such as: 🚂 SBB Giruno as ECE 150 Milan–Frankfurt 🚂 146 230 with a Black Forest Railway trainset 🚂 193 350 (DB Cargo): a locomotive traveling south 🚂 two freight trains at night 🚂 101 009 with NJ 409 to Berlin + EN 40459 to Prague The Black Forest Railway trainset with its red double-decker carriages in the DB Regio livery was apparently in the workshop. A turnaround was then performed, and the train then traveled towards Titisee, i.e., Donaueschingen, up the Höllentalbahn (Hell Valley Railway). Several night trains also stop in Freiburg. The NightJet 409 to Berlin and the EuroNight 40459 to Prague were documented as examples. There is also one TGV train pair daily. However, this service was cancelled, so I wasn't able to include it in the video. On Saturdays, there is another TGV train pair, which would be a great way to travel from Europa-Park to Disneyland. Regional transport here is almost exclusively handled by vehicles in the bwegt livery. The following are in use: • Alstom Coradia Continental and • Siemens Mireo Numerous trams of various types run on the Stühlinger Bridge, which spans the main train station; I also took a brief look at these. And also at the Loretto Tunnel, which is part of the Höllentalbahn.
