Autumn 2025: The major renovation of the Berlin-Hamburg line is in full swing. As a result, some ICE trains are being rerouted via Stendal. After spending midday in Salzwedel and Hohenwulsch, Stendal's main station was next on my itinerary. Even from the parking lot, one was greeted by locomotive 202 484 and a parked NOHAB round-nose locomotive, hidden behind a bush and freight cars.
