YES, that's from start to finish including proofing time and no mixer needed. Charlie and his wife Marina love cooking for their children and grandchildren. Their grandchildren especially love watching nonno make bread and enjoy it with lots of butter. Ingredients 3/4 cup warm water 1 tablespoon honey 1 x 7g sachet dry yeast 2 cups warm water (may need more or a little less) 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon salt 750g plain premium flour or 00 flour, extra for dusting #breadrecipes #bread #baker #easybreadrecipes #ciabatta #italianrecipes #cookingchannel #italiancooking -In a small bowl add the dry yeast and honey. Add in ¾ cup of warm water and mix well. Set aside for 10 mins until you see the top start to get foamy. -In a large bowl place the flour and salt, combine and make a well in the middle. Add the yeast mixture. Start combining it with a wooden spoon then slowly add in the 2 cups of warm water a bit at a time. Mix in the olive oil. -Mix with a wooden spoon until combined. The consistency should be smooth and sticky. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Cover the bowl with a tea towel and set aside for 20 minutes. -After 20 minutes you would have noticed the dough has risen, fold in the edges a few times, cover with a tea towel and allow to rest another 20 minutes. -Now pour the dough out onto a floured bench and divide the dough into 3 equal parts, fold over to form a loaf Place each loaf on a tray with baking paper, cover with a tea towel and rest for another 30 minutes. **ALTERNATIVELY, if you don't want to wait for that last 30 minutes of proofing. Turn your oven to 70 degrees for about 5 minutes. Turn the oven off and then place the tray of bread in the oven, spray each dough with water (to prevent the dough from drying out on top, if it dries out it won't rise further). You will notice the dough has risen after 10 minutes Sprinkle some flour ontop of the loaves then score the bread with a sharp knife Place the loaves of bread on the top shelf. On the bottom shelf place a small baking dish half filled with water. This will be in the oven when baking the bread to create steam. Turn the oven on to 190 degrees and bake for 40 minutes. Enjoy your warm crusty loaf of homemade bread
