Click here for the recruitment form: https://www.sanpi-ryoron.com/recruit/ ■Japanese-Style Cabbage Rolls (Serves 4) [Ingredients] 150g ground pork, 150g ground chicken, 1 head of cabbage, 1/2 head of onion, 2 tablespoons water-dissolved potato starch, a pinch of mustard, a pinch of ketchup, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper A (2 tablespoons breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sake, 1 teaspoon sugar) B (600cc dashi, 3 tablespoons light soy sauce, 3 tablespoons mirin) [Directions] 1. Finely chop the onion. 2. Remove the core from the cabbage. Place the whole cabbage in a large pot of boiling water. Simmer over low heat. Peel the leaves one by one and drain in a colander. *16 leaves were used in the video. ③ Boil the peeled leaves briefly again to soften them, then cool under running water and pat dry. *Pour the remaining cabbage under running water and use it in another dish. ④ Scrape off the tough white parts of the softened cabbage leaves, finely chop them, and combine with the chopped onion. ⑤ Place the ground pork and chicken in a bowl, add 2 pinches of salt and a little pepper, and knead until sticky. Add A and mix thoroughly. Finally, add ④ and mix quickly. ⑥ Divide the filling from ⑤ into 8 equal parts, roll them into balls, and double-wrap them in cabbage leaves. ⑦ Arrange them tightly in a frying pan, adding B and bringing to a boil. Once boiling, cover with a drop lid and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. 8. Transfer some of the broth to another pot and thicken with 2 tablespoons of water-dissolved potato starch. 9. Place the cabbage rolls in a serving dish. Pour the filling from 8 over them. Add mustard and ketchup to taste.
