The project is being developed under a shared ownership structure, with Osaka Prefecture responsible for the infrastructure and Osaka Monorail Co., Ltd. responsible for the track, electrical, and signaling facilities. The structure will be a double-track elevated straddle-type monorail, similar to the existing section. The line will adopt a typical urban monorail elevated structure, with reinforced concrete (RC) rigid-frame support columns (piers) erected near the central median strip and above the side roads of the Central Circular Line, and prestressed concrete (PC) track girders and steel girders erected on top of these. According to documents released by Osaka Prefecture, orders are being placed for the construction of support columns and the manufacture and erection of PC track girders, with the infrastructure portion of the project cost-based progress rate at approximately 22% as of the end of fiscal year 2024, detailed design approximately 90% complete, and support column construction approximately 70% ordered. As a result of this process, completed reinforced concrete columns can be seen lined up in rows in Kadoma and Higashiosaka, with some sections even having girders installed. All five new stations will be elevated, with a three-story structure based on island platforms, similar to the existing lines. Passengers will be able to transfer to the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line at Kadoma-minami Station, and to the JR Gakkentoshi Line at Konoike-Shinden Station. At Aramoto Station, plans have been made public for a terminal structure that combines an elevated monorail and subway station in a three-dimensional manner to connect with Aramoto Station on the Kintetsu Keihanna Line and Osaka Metro Chuo Line, and the station's function as a transportation hub is intended to be strengthened, including the reorganization of the station plaza and bus stops. Near the terminal, Uryuudo Station, a new station (tentatively named Uryuudo Station) is planned to be built on the Kintetsu Nara Line to allow passengers to transfer between the two lines, and a new train depot (Uryudo Train Depot) is also planned to be built to the north of that.
