Another milestone reached! 💪 After weeks of work, we've finally finished excavating the ground to a depth of 45 cm throughout this entire house! A physically demanding but essential step to start on a solid foundation. Between the tons of rubble, the enormous stones to remove, and the days spent shoveling, let's just say we won't be forgetting this! 😅 Once the excavation was complete, we moved on to the next step: building formwork to reinforce one of the walls and secure the structure before continuing the work. We also took the opportunity to install all the drainage pipes. It's the kind of work we won't see once the floor is finished, but it's a crucial step to avoid any unpleasant surprises later on. And that's probably what makes us happiest: we'll finally be able to rebuild the floor! 🥹 After weeks of demolition, tearing down, clearing out, and preparing, we finally feel like we're turning a page and starting to build this house the way we've always envisioned it. Each step brings us a little closer to our goal, and we can't wait to show you the rest of this incredible renovation!
