🏡 Rebuilding an Old Stone Chicken Coop | Renovating an 1820 Farmhouse | EP-98 The big project finally begins! In this episode, we tackle the reconstruction of our old stone chicken coop, located in the heart of our 1820 farmhouse. Before we could rebuild, we first had to completely remove the cement plaster covering the walls to reveal the original stone. Next came a massive cleanup of the collapsed section: sorting the stones, removing the rubble, and preparing the site for the next steps. My goal is to carry out this reconstruction while respecting as much as possible the traditional masonry techniques used by the builders centuries ago.
