Splitting Fence Costs With Your Neighbor: What we learned

Splitting Fence Costs With Your Neighbor: What we learned Our horse fence was falling apart, and after years of repairs, we finally decided it was time to replace it. But there was an interesting twist — about 600 feet of the fence line is shared with our neighbor. Instead of handling the entire project and expense ourselves, we worked together and shared some of the cost. In this video, we show you the condition of the old fence, why we decided replacement made more sense than continuing to repair it, how the professional installation went, what it cost us, and whether we'd do it the same way again. Unfortunately, this isn't the end of our fence problems! We still have plenty of old fencing around the property that needs attention. 19 new fence boards were just delivered — and the next section we're tackling ourselves. Thanks for spending some time with us here at Field & Fence, where we share the real projects, problems, animals, and everyday work that come with country living.
