I'm going to make green pea rice. The beans are bright green and don't wrinkle, making them plump and delicious. With just a little effort, your usual green pea rice will be a whole lot more delicious. It's best to make it with peas in the pods, but you can also use shelled peas. It's only available at this time of year, so please try it out while it's still in season. Ingredients 2 cups of rice 400g peas in the pods ★Remove the pods and make about 100g net 1/2 teaspoon salt for sprinkling on the beans 300cc water for boiling ◎Seasonings for rice 1/2 teaspoon salt 4g granulated kelp stock (Hon Dashi) 1 tablespoon sake Use water and boiling water to make 2 cups This is a new challenge for me since I turned 60, but I'm having a lot of fun doing it.
