2026-07-12: DFS Dampf, Bier & Bratwurst. Bahnhofsfest in Ebermannstadt

Sunday, July 12, 2026 – Ebermannstadt invites you to the Franconian Switzerland Steam Railway's station festival! The platform has been transformed into a cozy beer garden today: Enjoy cool Schwanenbräu beer on tap, non-alcoholic drinks, steaks and bratwurst fresh from the Hübschmann grill, and of course, coffee and cake in the DFS coffee shop. My video takes you along for the morning. We start at 9:00 a.m. with the "calm before the storm," witnessing the growing crowds on the platform and some interesting shunting scenes. Right on time at 10:00 a.m., the steam locomotive 64 491 departs for the first trip of the day. And as if that weren't enough, we also see the steam train's return and the departure of the second train – pulled by the vintage diesel locomotive V60 114!
