2026-05-13: DFS Donnerbüchsen-Sound, unterwegs mit V 36 235 und Ci-bay 30

Wednesday, May 13, 2026. That was something completely different. The Agilis RB22 took me from Forchheim to Ebermannstadt, the starting station for the special excursion. There, on platform 2, were waiting the V 36 235 locomotive, the Schwanenbräu beer wagon, the generator car, and a Ci-bay 30 passenger car, which would be running as a special train to Schwarzenberg/Erzgebirge. The V36 235 is a guest locomotive at the Schwarzenberg Railway Days from May 14 to 17. I rode along the DB line from Ebermannstadt to Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg and was able to capture some impressions from inside the passenger car. A travel report with diesel power and third-class seating.
