2026-07-11: Spur 0 Stammtisch #50

3465 days ago, it was Arnold who had the idea to found a Gauge 0 (SNM) club. A few – five in total – curious and dedicated enthusiasts met in Wüstenstein on Saturday, January 14, 2017, despite the wintry road conditions. I quote from Arnold's post on January 15, 2017, in the SNM forum: "Despite the most adverse weather conditions, five Gauge 0 enthusiasts met yesterday in the snow-covered village of Wüstenstein. Over coffee and cake, we exchanged experiences. Both standard and narrow gauge enthusiasts were represented. As far as I remember, I joined at the fourth meeting. We celebrated our 50th meeting last Saturday, July 11, 2026. I quote again the founder and driving force behind the club: "The guests came from Berlin, Saxony, Upper Bavaria, the Upper Palatinate, as well as Middle and Upper Franconia. The place was packed today." There was a "fireworks display" of mostly Bavarian locomotives to admire. Thanks to all the participants for this wonderful anniversary gathering and the gifts you brought. I tried to capture some of our activities and a few of the exhibits in my video clip. It was indeed a successful and harmonious meeting. Thanks to everyone, especially our hosts Arnold and Sigrid.
