O Que Deus Exige de Nós?

What truly pleases God? Sacrifices, extraordinary signs, or a converted heart? Today's liturgy offers a clear and profoundly relevant answer. The prophet Micah summarizes all of God's will in three fundamental attitudes: practicing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with the Lord. In the Gospel, Jesus rebukes those who seek extraordinary signs but remain closed to conversion. The greatest sign is already before them: Christ himself. The problem is not the lack of signs, but the resistance of the heart to accepting God's truth. 🙏 This Word invites us to abandon a superficial faith and live an authentic relationship with the Lord, expressed in concrete works of love, justice, and mercy. 📖 Liturgy of the Day – July 20, 2026 🕊 Gospel: Matthew 12:38-42 📜 First Reading: Micah 6:1-8 🎵 Psalm: 49(50) ✨ God does not seek only external religious manifestations; He desires a heart transformed by love. ✅ Subscribe to the channel to follow the Liturgy of the Word daily. ✅ Leave your comment: How can you live justice, mercy, and humility in your daily life today? ✅ Share this video to bring the Word of God to more people. 🔔 Activate notifications and strengthen your faith journey every day.
