How can we remain faithful to God when persecution, difficulties, and challenges arise on the Christian journey? Today's liturgy presents us with a message of hope and perseverance. The prophet Hosea invites the people to sincere conversion, abandoning false idols and returning to the Lord who heals, restores, and makes the lives of those who trust in Him flourish. In the Gospel, Jesus prepares his disciples for their mission and warns them about the difficulties they will encounter.
