São Tiago Apóstolo

What does it mean to be truly great in the eyes of God? On the Feast of St. James the Apostle, the liturgy presents us with one of the most important lessons of the Gospel. While the disciples were still thinking about positions of honor, Jesus reveals that true greatness is born from service, dedication, and the willingness to give one's life for love. St. Paul reminds us that we carry a precious treasure in earthen vessels. Despite human frailties, God accomplishes great works through those who remain faithful to his mission. In the Gospel, Jesus teaches that whoever wishes to be first must become the servant of all. Christ himself is the perfect model: he did not come to be served, but to serve and give his life for the salvation of humanity. 🙏 Celebrating St. James, we are invited to renew our missionary vocation, courageously embracing the path of the cross, of service, and of evangelization. 📖 Liturgy of the Day – July 25, 2026 🕊 Gospel: Matthew 20:20-28 📜 First Reading: 2 Corinthians 4:7-15 🎵 Psalm: 125(126) ✨ God transforms human weakness into an instrument of his grace and causes eternal fruits to flourish in the lives of those who follow him. ✅ Subscribe to the channel to follow the Liturgy of the Word daily. ✅ Leave your comment: How can you serve God and your brothers and sisters more in your concrete reality? ✅ Share this video to proclaim the Gospel and inspire others to follow Christ with generosity. 🔔 Activate notifications and strengthen your faith journey daily.
