O Chamado à Verdadeira Conversão

Following Jesus is a life-changing decision. But are we truly willing to put Him above all else? In today's liturgy, the prophet Isaiah denounces an empty religiosity, made up only of external rites, while the heart remains distant from God. The Lord asks for something much greater: true conversion, the practice of justice, and concrete love for those most in need. In the Gospel, Jesus presents one of the most challenging demands of discipleship: "Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me." Following Christ means loving Him above all things, even when this requires sacrifice, misunderstanding, or renunciation. 🙏 This Word invites us to abandon all appearance of superficial faith and to live an authentic commitment to the Gospel. 📖 Liturgy of the Day – July 13, 2026 🕊 Gospel: Matthew 10:34–11:1 📜 First Reading: Isaiah 1:10-17 🎵 Psalm: 49(50) ✨ God seeks not only our words or religious practices, but a heart transformed by grace. ✅ Subscribe to the channel to follow the Liturgy of the Word daily. ✅ Leave your comment: What is God asking you to give up to follow Him more faithfully? ✅ Share this video to help others deepen their walk with Christ. 🔔 Activate notifications and strengthen your faith daily.
