Mateusz Szymkowiak's guest was Dr. Krzysztof Nierzwicki, Director of the University of Warsaw Library (BUW). In the first part of the interview, Dr. Krzysztof Nierzwicki outlines his priorities for his upcoming term as Director of the University of Warsaw Library. Among the most important tasks are improving the library's functionality, providing readers with the best possible working conditions, and addressing the lack of space for the ever-expanding collection. Another important element of the plans is the revitalization of the building in Powiśle and the development of new forms of work using modern technologies. The episode also touches on the historical collections that underpin the library's prestige, including printed works, manuscripts, musical pieces, and archival materials stored in a special vault. The second part of the interview is devoted to the most valuable works in the BUW collection and the work of a book historian.
