Date filmed: Saturday the 15th of March 2025 Videos filmed at: 14:02 | 14:05 Route: Derby to Crewe Line Between Tutbury & Hatton (TUT) and Uttoxeter (UTT) Stations Crossing type: User-Worked Crossing with Miniature Stop Lights (UWC-MSL) Filming location: Green Lane, Marchington (ST14 8LQ) A user-worked level crossing located a few miles east of Uttoxeter near the village of Marchington, Staffordshire. It is an 'active' crossing with Unipart Rail 'Dorman' red/green lights, and unusually-loud alarms. These audible warnings have only been at this crossing for a few years now, and it's very rare you hear alarms this loud at crossings like this. There are road and pedestrian gates here, the one of the latter on one side is rather narrow.
