It's located near the small village itself, and the location has quite a nice feel despite the level crossing being on a very busy road. 2014 is when this level crossing in its current guise dates back to, and control still is taken care of from nearby Aylesford Signal Box at the station, even after the full renewal which took place then, with the crossing watched through CCTV as it's lowered. The line is quite curved but cluttered here, and one of the alarms sounds rather croaky now. Ensuring it was safe to cross, I did so in the first clip so you can hear this up close, and it also gave the best view of a Maidstone-bound train coming around the bend. There is a path on this side of the road despite it being rather narrow and ending completely just behind where I stood, so I was careful.
