Avoid Tribal Campaigns, NALUMANGO Says

By Chansa Kunda Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has called on political parties to refrain from using tribal remarks in their campaigns. Mrs. NALUMANGO says no political party should seek support by promoting tribal divisions at the expense of national unity. She says Zambians should be free to speak their languages and live together peacefully without discriminating against one another on the basis of tribe. Mrs. NALUMANGO was speaking during a rally at Ntindi Secondary School in Nakonde District. Meanwhile, Movement for Democratic Change leader FELIX MUTATI, who is part of the UPND Alliance, called on Zambians to support the government's development agenda. And Party for National Unity and Progress leader HIGHVIE HAMUDUDU said his party supports the UPND because of President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA's leadership.
