HH Pledges More Dams for Petauke

By Wilson Mulinda President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says his administration will continue constructing dams in Petauke to improve access to water for farming. President HICHILEMA says expanding water infrastructure is key to increasing agricultural production. Speaking to thousands of residents at Petauke Day Secondary School grounds, President HICHILEMA said he wants farmers in the district to benefit from the enhanced Farmer Input Support Programme -FISP. The President also urged Petauke residents to vote for the UPND, saying it will ensure continued peace and development. He said elections before 2021 were characterised by violence and intimidation, adding that the situation has since changed under his administration.
