Mantra meditation uses language to help focus the mind. Mantra are sacred phrases that can be chanted out loud or repeated silently during meditation. This technique can be very effective if you struggle to maintain focus on your breath or another “anchor”, or if you want to use a certain intention for your practice.. Try this brief mantra meditation practice to see whether this approach to meditation is a good fit for you.
