Iran : peut-on négocier sous les bombes ?

The moment of truth has arrived for the United States: enter into genuine negotiations with Iran or deliver a fatal blow. This is the latest threat Donald Trump made this afternoon. At the same time, indirect negotiations between the United States and Iran are taking place through Pakistan. However, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghtchi declared that Iran has "no intention of negotiating" and plans to "continue resisting." Within Iran, surveillance of the population is intensifying, as it remains cut off from the world due to the internet blockade imposed by the mullahs' regime. How has the Iranian people been living under the bombs for nearly a month? What might be the fatal blow delivered by Donald Trump? Is a ground operation conceivable? Who are the new faces of Iranian power? We discuss this with David Rigoulet-Roze, researcher at the French Institute for Strategic Analysis (IFAS), editor-in-chief of the journal Orients Stratégiques, associate researcher at the European Institute for Middle Eastern and North African Studies (EISMENA), and author of “The Islamic Republic of Iran in Systemic Crisis” (L’Harmattan); Aïda Tavakoli, a French-Iranian doctoral candidate, president of the association We are Iranian Students and member of Guerrières de la Paix (Women Warriors of Peace); and Fariba Hachtroudi, writer, president of the Mohsen Hachtroudi Association, and author of “War in Iran: A Logbook 2025-2026” (Chèvre-feuille étoilée). 🔴 To stay up-to-date on all political and parliamentary news, subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/publicse... 👉 Our website: http://www.publicsenat.fr ▶️ Watch all our replays: https://www.publicsenat.fr/replay 📬 Subscribe to our newsletter: https://bit.ly/NewslettersPublicSenat 🚀 Follow us on social media: Facebook:   / publicsenat   X:   / publicsenat   Instagram:   / publicsenat   LinkedIn:   / 2996809   Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/publicsenat.fr Threads: https://www.threads.net/@publicsenat TikTok:   / publicsenat
