A record has been reached: 58 departments were placed on red alert on Tuesday, June 23. This heatwave, of exceptional intensity and duration, is putting French infrastructure to the test: hospitals, schools, nuclear power plants, railways... Since the 2003 heatwave, governments have not prioritized policies for adapting to climate change. How can we adapt to these heatwaves that could become the norm? How high could the temperature rise in our cities without an ambitious environmental policy? What about the National Rally's proposal to install air conditioning everywhere and for everyone?
