This time, I'm checking out the Intercity train from Świnoujście to Zakopane, which covers almost the entire length of Poland, connecting the Baltic Sea with the Tatra Mountains. This very long train connection has a total of 15 carriages, making the IC Podhalanin one of the longest PKP Intercity passenger trains in Poland, and perhaps even the longest regularly operated train of this carrier. The IC Podhalanin is also notorious for being one of the most delayed PKP Intercity trains. The long route, the vast number of kilometers traveled, the many stops along the way, and frequent disruptions make it a train that is often subject to delays. In this video, I explore what it's like to travel on one of the most distinctive Intercity trains in Poland. The IC Podhalanin route runs from Świnoujście through Poznań, Wrocław, Opole, Katowice, and Kraków, all the way to Zakopane.
