I'd like to tell you, everyone reading this, that I really appreciate you stopping by and reading this in the deluge of content. And we'll see in the comments who's reading the posts soon ;) Seriously though: gratitude has bad PR. It's become some tired and naive term straight out of a meme. Unnecessarily so. Yes, it won't save the world, but proactively expressing gratitude brings benefits. Appreciation is one way to express gratitude, and it's worth practicing. Not as an intentional and meaningless bon ton, but as an expression of appreciation that brings people closer, motivates, and helps. He discusses the benefits of appreciation in the episode.
