Depresja poporodowa. Rozmowa z Karoliną Bacia

Symptoms persist for at least two weeks after delivery. They include sadness, loss of interest, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, anxiety about the baby, and guilt associated with motherhood. Recognizing and treating perinatal depression is crucial for the health and well-being of the patient and her child. Left untreated, it can complicate childcare, contribute to significant suffering, bonding, long-term developmental problems in the child, impact family relationships, and increase the risk of suicide. Epidemiological data indicate that it affects between 10 and 20% of people, with variations related to region, socioeconomic status, previous episodes of depression, lack of social support, and numerous individual factors. It is a complex and still shameful issue, as motherhood is often a desired state, and when illness strikes, it is difficult to experience joy because it is overwhelmed by an avalanche of guilt. This is Gutral Gada Personally, not only because I'm seeing my guest in the studio today, but because she's sharing her personal experience with mental health challenges. The most frequently asked questions concern the experiences of people with mental illness, and how to relate them to your own. Seeking support and psychoeducation through shared experiences is natural and can be supportive, but remember that no podcast, ebook, or course will provide you with a diagnosis or guarantee the same results as working with a specialist. However, to familiarize yourself with the topic and provide social support, this personal series is being created. The first invitation was accepted by film, theater, and voice actress Karolina Bacia @costampoangielsku. There will be no vivisection; I hope it will be supportive and inspiring for those who discover that support exists in suffering. I bow to the Patrons for the opportunity to produce and distribute this podcast. Photo by me - @opowiedziane_swiatlem Photo by Karolina - Aleksandra Zaborowska Editing: Eugeniusz Karlov
