TRADITIONAL LEADERS PROPOSE MOVING NORTH-WESTERN CAPITAL

#diamondnewsdesk Traditional leaders in North-Western Province have proposed relocating the provincial capital from Solwezi District to Mufumbwe District, citing rapid population growth and increasing congestion in Solwezi. Speaking on behalf of the traditional leaders during a meeting with President Hakainde Hichilema in Solwezi last week, North-Western Province Traditional Leaders Chairperson, Chief Dr Mumena, said the growing population has made it increasingly difficult for the Government to expand key public infrastructure.
