In this Yin Yoga deep dive we explore Dragonfly Pose, a deep straddle forward fold that gently stretches the inner thighs, groin and hamstrings.Dragonfly is a powerful Yin posture that targets the adductor muscles of the inner legs, helping to create more mobility through the hips and pelvis while also encouraging length through the spine. In this 10-minute Yin Yoga practice, we will: • move step-by-step into Dragonfly Pose • explore helpful prop variations with blankets or bolsters • hold the pose long enough to reach deep connective tissues • stimulate the Liver and Spleen meridians along the inner legs • release the pose slowly with gentle counter movements This posture can take patience, especially if the inner thighs feel tight. Using props allows the body to relax into the stretch safely and sustainably.
