Gothic Remake: The Monastery Stone

The last Focus Stone. This time my destination was the monastery ruins. On the way there, I revisited a few places where I had previously encountered various monsters, and after making my way through several packs of snappers, I finally met Gorn. Gorn asked me to deal with the snappers, which was rather amusing because I had already taken care of most of them. From what I understand, the real purpose of that quest was to find the Meatbug Transformation scroll. Because honestly, it seemed like that was the only way into the monastery. The game practically screamed it at me with the flowers growing on the wall and the couple of meatbugs wandering around near the crack in the wall. There were still plenty of snappers inside, though. Overall, I probably killed an absurd number of them throughout the entire monastery. This was also the first time I had to deal with a Shadowbeast. It turned out to be the only path I hadn't explored yet, and in the end I guessed correctly, though I had my doubts. So, out of all the Focus Stone dungeons, the monastery was definitely the hardest one for me. I had to fight a Shadowbeast, and later a troll decided to join the party as well. Still, I think this was the only dungeon that I fully explored without skipping anything. Well, that's the fifth stone secured. Now either the story is finally about to go completely crazy, or someone will just send me off to search for something somewhere yet again. So before that happens, I might spend some time exploring the Colony a bit more.
