Gothic Remake: The Canyon Stone

I decided to reach the Canyon Focus Stone through the mine. First, I wanted to see what the mine looked like after the flooding. Second, I wanted to check out that climbing cliff I had noticed earlier. I found a couple of goblins there and... not much else. I have a feeling I missed something, either because I wasn't paying enough attention or because traveling at night is a genuinely terrible idea. An idea I regretted even more later. While crossing the Hunting Grounds in the dark, I kept running into various creatures. But when I stumbled into a fairly large pack of snappers, things went very wrong. I completely failed to notice that I had run out of mana. Then I panicked. And then I died. Good thing this isn't Hardcore mode. Later I found some kind of bandit camp, but decided not to get involved with them for now. I'll come back and explore places like that another time. Eventually I met Milten. Together we took down a surprisingly huge troll and made our way to the Focus Stone. That's the third one.
