Packrafting the Franklin River January 2023 - 1. Collingwood River to the Irenabyss

The first instalment of five videos of our Franklin River trip in January 2023. While the water levels were extremely low, the river and the adventure of our trip does not detract form the immense beauty, grandeur and challenge of the Franklin River. It is a trip I have wanted to do again since my Uni days in 1986. It did not disappoint; in fact it has inspired us to come back later this year to visit Eagle Creek track and raft the Jane River, a significant tributary to the Franklin River.
