Hand Crafted Collage Paper
Demonstration of making handmade collage papers using old book pages and brown paper. I dipped and stamped a variety of found objects in liquid black paint to create patterned papers. I used string, cardboard, a feather, an egg whisk, a Lincoln log, a fan brush, a toothbrush, a plastic bottle cap, and corrugated cardboard to stamp to create textured patterns. This is a simple and effective way to explore mark making while creating a stash of papers for future mixed media projects.
