Paper Layering Technique for Stunning Mixed Media Art

In this video, I'm creating an 8x10 mixed media collage on a wood panel using a limited selection of gel printed papers. The collage starts simply, but the real transformation happens when I begin layering translucent mullbery bark paper and additional texture to create depth, movement, and visual interest. If you've ever wondered how to take a collage from "pretty good" to "finished," this process may give you some ideas. I'll share how I build layers and create focal areas to unify the composition without covering up all the beautiful papers underneath. I hope this video inspires you to experiment with transparent layers and trust the process.
