★ 4K 🇫🇷 Bordeaux - Nantes cab ride, France [07.2023] (führerstandsmitfahrt)

We have received many comments previously requesting a cab ride on the Nantes - Bordeaux cross-country route appear on this channel. For the first time on Youtube in 4K, here it is! Travelling with a Régiolis B85000, it is a journey of more than 4 hours and 373 km that awaits us. These are respectively the lines from Chartres to Bordeaux-Saint-Jean and from Nantes to Saintes that we will take, these will allow us to cross the departments of Gironde, Charente-Maritime, Vendée and finally Loire-Atlantique. In double track on the first part of the journey, recent renewal of tracks and infrastructure has reduced the section beyond La Rochelle to a single-track line. During the journey, the profile of the line is relatively flat overall, however, some passages can reach slopes and ramps reaching 10 ‰. We'll encounter many closed stations and abandoned lines that we have carefully listed, and the remains of which are largely still clearly visable. We wish you dear viewers a pleasant journey!
