★ 4K 🇨🇭 Luzern - Locarno train cab ride, Switzerland [05.2026] (longest railway tunnel in the world)

Recently, we looked at the Gotthard mountain line:    • ★ 4K 🇨🇭 Arth-Goldau - Göschenen - Bellinzo...   In this video, we're taking the Gotthard route again, but through the 2016 base tunnel (currently the longest railway tunnel in the world). In Bellinzona, we'll change trains and continue along the 1874 line to Locarno, situated on the beautiful lake Maggiore. As with the previous video, I accidentally had the camera zoomed in while filming, which might have effected the sharpness of the image a bit, but also makes the footage look a bit more natural. I'm not sure if I should keep filming this way in the future - so far your comments have been positive. For the more technically interested viewers - signalling information, gradients, altitude, bearing, speed and location information have been included on screen. You will also find the names of waterways, length and year of construction of tunnels and bridges, former stations, former line routings and others points of interest along the way.
