Instead of the usual teenage worries, I was faced with a rigid plastic Chenault brace that I wore day and night, the fear of surgery, and four long years of rehabilitation. I know what it's like to feel stiff, pain, and stubborn when your body refuses to obey you. My recovery was successful; I was able to build my core muscles and regain my freedom. But that doesn't mean I can do nothing. My spine requires daily care. And today I'm showing you my PERSONAL ROUTINE—a gentle yet deep full-body stretch that helps me maintain lightness, nourish my intervertebral discs, and feel alive.
