To be a part of TIDE events send your applications with a video clipping to [email protected] DAY 1 We begin the Nataraja Festival 2022 with a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer, Tanya Saxena from Delhi. Tanya started her training under Padma Bhushan Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan and Rama Vaidyanathan. Tanya is an empanelled artist of the ICCR, an A-Grade Doordarshan graded artist and a recipient of the Ministry of Culture Scholarship for Young Artists. She holds a Master’s in Performing Arts from Tamil Nadu University and is currently under the joint mentorship of A. Lakshmanaswamy and Kamalini Dutt. She has presented over 150 performances at stages across the world. Some notable shows include the Spirit of Youth Festival at the Music Academy, Chennai; Kamani Auditorium, Delhi and the Calderon Theatre, Spain. Tanya has collaborated with artists to create inter-disciplinary work, including Yami - a dance theatre production staged at Sangeet Natak Akademi, Thrissur, and Les Flutes Enchantes - a collaboration with Hindustani and Western flutists commissioned by Alliance Francaise, Delhi.
