Bharatanatyam performance by Sowmya Laxmi | Nataraja Festival | The Indian Dance Experience

We continue Day 3 with SOWMYA LAXMI P N. Sowmya joined the Natya Vriksha Dance Institution, under the aegis of Padmashri Geeta Chandran 14 years ago. In 2018 she presented her Arangetram. Sowmya has been a recipient of the prestigious CCRT, Cultural Talent Search Scholarship, of the Ministry of Culture, Govt of India, for Bharatanatyam, regularly, since the year 2012. She has also received various awards and prizes from organizations and colleges across the country like IIT Bombay, University of Delhi, Alaknanda Institute of Performing Arts, to name a few. Sowmya is also a part of Natya Vriksha Dance Collective and has accompanied her Guru for various Lecture Demonstrations and performances.
