Building a Custom Fibreglass Sub Box for my MK2 Golf GTI... This Didn't Go to Plan
Building a custom fibreglass sub box for my MK2 Golf GTI VR6. In this video i start shaping the enclosure directly in the boot, laying up the fibreglass and trying to get the base structure right. It didn't all go to plan... Getting the mould out turned out to be a nightmare thanks to the wrong wax and i had to fix a few air bubbles as well. Even still, it's starting to take shape and actually fit in the car. The next step is trimming it back, adding the front panel and mounting the sub properly so it starts to look like a completed unit.
