Progress on Custom Air Ride Setup For My MK2 Golf GTI VR6

The custom air ride setup for my MK2 Golf GTI is finally starting to take shape. In this video I make more progress on the custom boot build by trimming the enclosure, drilling the mounting holes and bonding threaded inserts into the base ready for the valve block. Next was to trim the enclosure in carpet which was not simple due to the odd internal shapes. I also tidy up the wiring by wrapping the power cables in cloth tape and install the air filter. With the fabrication work done for now, it's time for some motivation and fit the enclosure into the boot and mock up the valve block and compressor to get a look at how it'll eventually look. It's great to finally see all the individual parts come together and looking show what how i imagined.
