Building a Custom Air Ride Setup For My MK2 Golf GTI VR6

In the video I start building a custom air ride setup in the boot of my MK2 Golf GTI VR6. I don't have all the parts yet, so i am having to mock everything up with cardboard first and try to make it all fit properly before committing to the final design. The plan is to build a clean display enclosure for the air suspension compressor and valve block with hardlines on show. I start by making templates then transferring everything into MDF and fibreglass to create a base that fits perfectly into the spare wheel well. Fire there I begin shaping the enclosure, sealing it and working out the layout for the air ride components. I also build a floating mount for the valve block which will sit inside the display once everything is finished. This is all part of the full MK2 Golf GTI VR6 build series where I'm doing everything myself in the garage. Figuring it out as I go. More to come as I finish the air ride install, wiring and final trim.
