Life is a series of events. My move to Hawaii was a result of the environment I grew up in and the people I met, ultimately leading me here. Was this just a coincidence? • According to yogic philosophy, we carry karma (cause and effect) from past lives to this life and into future lives as we reincarnate. This karma determines our appearance, the environment we are born into, and our experiences. Perhaps we are living in this world because we are meant to. • The things we see and hear, the people we meet, may not be mere coincidences, but rather inevitable. By calmly accepting what happens in our lives, without being swayed by personal feelings of good or bad, we may see unexpected perspectives.
