I hope you enjoy this quiet day with us. 🌿 🍳 Recipe Japanese Tofu Hamburg Steak (Makes 4) Ingredients 300 g (10.5 oz) ground meat of your choice 150 g (5.3 oz) firm tofu 1 bunch enoki mushrooms, finely chopped 2 tbsp rice flour 1 clove garlic, grated Salt and black pepper, to taste Sauce 4 tbsp ketchup 2 tbsp Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce (Chuno sauce) 150 ml (⅔ cup) water Instructions 1. Drain the tofu by wrapping it in paper towels and placing a weight on top for about 30 minutes. 2. In a bowl, combine the ground meat, crumbled tofu, and finely chopped enoki mushrooms. 3. Add the grated garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined. 4. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into oval patties. 5. Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Flip, cover with a lid, and cook for another 5 minutes. Wipe away any excess fat from the pan. 6. Add the ketchup, Chuno sauce, and water.
