BBA Dave's Barleywine (Vanilla) (2026) | Angry Chair Brewing | Beer Review | #2958

In this review, I'm going to take a look at another beer from Angry Chair Brewing (‪@angrychairbrewing7217‬), and it's their Bourbon Barrel Aged Dave's Barleywine (Vanilla), the 2026 vintage. This is an English Barleywine that is aged in bourbon barrels with Brazilian Bahiana vanilla beans. I'm not sure a beer could be brewed that sounds more perfect than this one for my palate, as I absolutely love the style, and the fact that it's barrel-aged with vanilla beans = SIGN. ME. UP! Let's see how it is! I also want to give a huge thanks to a very good friend of mine, and viewer of the channel, Eli (‪@TATTKINGELI‬), for this beer! Commercial Description: Our classic sumptuous English Style Barleywine aged for 4 years in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels with decadent Brazilian Bahiana vanilla beans. Brazilian Bahiana vanilla beans are incredibly scarce, premium pods cultivated in Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest. They are packed with vanilla caviar and offer flavor notes of toffee, browned butter, mocha, and gentle baking spices and compliment our barleywine base quite nicely.
