I’m joined by psychiatrist Dr. Blaise Aguirre to talk about Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). We discuss how extreme emotional sensitivity can lead to despair, self-hatred, suicidality, and an intense fear of abandonment, and how DBT can teach the skills needed to regulate those feelings.
